Q: "Why didn't my handguard come with an endcap?"
A: Endcaps are not included with any handguards and must be purchased separately.
Q: "I just bought a brand-new handguard, why didn't it come with Anti-Rotation screws?"
A: We package our Anti-rotation screws within the same plastic bag as the directions and place it inside the forearm. Occasionally the directions get discarded before the anti-rotation screws are recovered.
Q: "Can I re-use my crush washer?"
A: No. Crush washers are a one-time use only product. They crush and deform when tightened and do not expand when removed. A new crush washer should be used whenever one is removed.
SOUND SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS
Q: "Can I attach a Flash Hider or Sound Suppressor to the end of my rifle barrel even though it is not threaded?"
A: No, a threaded barrel is required to attach our Q.D. Muzzle Devices or Sound Suppressors. Some gunsmiths can thread your barrel but be aware that barrel threading needs to be extremely precise. If your threads are not concentric to the bore, it may cause a dangerous baffle strike. All applicable local and state laws apply.
Q: "Will my 7.62 Q.D. mount work on my 5.56mm suppressor?"
A: The current lineup of YHM HUB compatible suppressors will accept all HUB compatible adapters and their appropriate muzzle devices. Please ensure that your suppressor and your chosen muzzle device are compatible with the caliber of your firearm. This chart (ß link to compatibility chart) will show you which muzzle devices are compatible with which adapters. If you have any doubt, please contact our sales team. NOTE: Legacy suppressors did distinguish between 7.62mm and 5.56mm muzzle devices and subsequently 7.62mm muzzle devices did not function in 5.56mm suppressors.
Q: "Which suppressor works best with .300 Blackout?"
A: All of our 7.62mm suppressors work extremely well on .300 BLK as does our R9 suppressor.
Q: "Can you thread my pistol barrel so I can put a sound suppressor on it?
A: No, you need to purchase a threaded extended barrel for your handgun. YHM does not sell or manufacture threaded extended barrels for handguns.

Q: "How do I know my order has been shipped? How long will it take to
get my order?"
A: Retail orders typically ship the business day after the order was placed. We ship via USPS Ground Advantage, FedEx Home or UPS Ground. Actual delivery times vary by carrier and season. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information the day the order is shipped.
Q: "Is the item I want actually in stock?"
A: If you can add the item to your cart, it is in stock. On the rare occasion we oversell the item that you ordered, we will contact you immediately to offer an alternative. Our website is updated regularly.
Q: "The part I want is never in stock, when will you be making more?"
A: We are always making more! As a manufacturer, we have a responsibility to supply our dealers and distributors with product before we can offer it for sale on our website. If an item is "out of stock," it means it is being shipped to our dealers and distributors across the country and available through them.
Q: "How do I send parts for warranty service?"

DEALER CUSTOMER QUESTIONS
Q: "What qualifies someone to become a YHM Dealer?"
A: The only prerequisite we require is a business license. If you will be buying firearms, we also require a valid copy of your Federal Firearms License. If you will be buying Sound Suppressors or Short Barreled Rifles, we require a valid copy of your Federal Firearms License and your Special Occupational Tax stamp for the current tax period.
Q: "How do I create an online Dealer account?"
A: Click HERE (ß https://yhm.net/new-dealers/) or go to www.yhm.net/resources and select the “Dealer Request Form”. Then fill out the form including your Business Name, Contact Person, Telephone Number, Email Address, etc.. We will then email you our New Dealer Package which gives you all the information necessary to become an authorized YHM dealer.
