YHM developed this Q.D. Adapter to convert existing suppressors from other manufacturers to use our much simpler mounting mechanism. This is the same mount design that YHM has been using on our Q.D. suppressors since 2005. Due to its simplistic design, there is virtually no way to incorrectly install the suppressor and risk the chance of it coming loose, yet it provides easy removal.

To install, simply remove your existing mount from your suppressor and thread in our Q.D. adapter. This will allow you to use YHM’s Q.D. flash hiders or muzzle brakes which are sold separately.

    Great QD System

    I love the Phantom QD system, I have never had an issue with this system. The adapter tightens down to a host suppressor very well and I have never had issues with it loosening up on me when in use. The system is simple and gives good visual and audible feedback to ensure you have the suppressor properly tightened down to host firearm. I highly recommend this QD system to anyone with a HUB adaptable suppressor.

    This adapter adds a little length to your suppressor but sometimes it is needed for certain length flash hiders, etc. I recommend a little lithium grease on the threads before installing on the back of the can, since with use it will lock itself tightly to the can (especially if you tighten it securely and you should) to prevent baffle strikes later. (Never-Seez works better but is very messy and is very difficult to get out of your creases of your hands later.) YHM products are superbly machined, burr free and threads well together. I know, since I have a small machine shop (two lathes and two milling machines.)

    I picked up the Phantom QD Adapter for my R9 suppressor. The adapter fit the R9 perfectly and allows me to use my Phantom QD muzzle devices with my R9.

    Mounting the suppressor becomes shockingly easy. Line up the threads, twist the suppressor on, and it’s ready to rock!
