Warranty

   All products being returned to YHM require a pre-approved RMA number. Please complete and submit our RMA form at www.YHM.net/rma or contact sales for an RMA number at (877) 892-6533 or via [email protected]. Please have the following handy before submitting the form: the warranted product, your photo I.D. and a copy of your approved Form 3 or Form 4.

 

   Shipments received without a completed RMA form may be refused. RMA numbers are valid for a period of 30 days once issued. Please be as specific as possible with the reason for the return, otherwise we may not be able to identify or troubleshoot the exact problem. If there is no reason given for the return or the description is vague, only basic tests will be performed. If no issue can be found, the product(s) will be returned to the customer in the same condition as was received.

 

-By requesting an RMA number, you agree to the following:

   • YHM is not responsible for any items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit

   • Determination to repair, replace, or refund the purchase price is made at the sole discretion of YHM

   • No personal items, including but not limited to stocks, optics, holsters, slings, magazines, etc. shall be included with the shipment and

     YHM assumes no liability for any such items.

   • YHM makes no guarantee for repair time. Any repair time estimate given is subject to change.

 

SUPPRESSOR WARRANTY

   YHM offers a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship. We will repair or replace any YHM sound suppressor free of charge so long as the warranty has not been voided. Any repairs not covered by this warranty will be charged to the owner. The warranty will be considered null and void and YHM will not cover damage to the sound suppressor and/or host firearm resulting in whole or in part from:

   • Criminal or Negligent use

   • Misuse

   • Careless handling

   • Modifications

   • Use on a barrel shorter than our stated minimum barrel length

   • Use of a crush washer, peel washer or anything else that causes misalignment

   • Use of ammunition that is defective, improperly hand-loaded, reloaded, or improperly sized for the suppressor

   • Use of frangible ammunition

   • Ordinary wear and tear

   Any or all of the non-warranted events listed above may cause injury or death to the user or a third party. YHM neither expressly nor directly accepts any such liabilities. YHM products are sold “as is” and have no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Please note that both the suppressor and the mount used at the time of failure are required for YHM to process a warranty claim or repair. To ensure your host firearm is properly set up for suppressor use and to prevent subsequent problems, we will require your barrel to be included in your return shipment. In many cases, failures are caused by improper barrel threading, or misalignment caused by third party mounting devices.

 

NON-WARRANTY SUPPRESSOR REPLACEMENT

   In the event that a suppressor is destroyed or damaged beyond repair and out of the confines of the above-mentioned warranty, the customer may purchase a replacement suppressor of the same model for 50% of the MSRP. If the original model is no longer available an equivalent replacement will be offered at 50% off the MRSP.

 

ACCESSORY WARRANTY

   YHM products are warranted for life to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Any such defect for which YHM is given written notice by a customer will be remedied by YHM. All returns must include a copy of the RMA form. YHM does not warrant against products that are deemed to be damaged through unreasonable use, corrosion, neglect, or ordinary wear and tear. YHM products are sold “as is” and have no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

 

WARRANTY REPAIRS

   YHM will repair or replace products that are destroyed or damaged beyond repair due to a manufacturing or material defect free of charge.

 

NON-WARRANTED REPAIRS

   There is a minimum labor charge of $50 plus the cost of parts to repair any/all non-warranted issues. YHM will supply the customer with a written estimate after the product(s) is/are assessed. If the estimate is approved by the customer in writing, an invoice will be created and must be paid before any work is performed. If the customer declines the repair estimate, YHM will ship the product(s) back to the customer unrepaired or will dispose of the product with the customer’s written approval.

 

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

   YHM will refund the purchase price of the product for items purchased directly from YHM if the claim is made within 30 days after the invoice date. For claims made more than 30 days but fewer than 90 days after the invoice date a 20% restocking fee with be assessed. No credits will be given after 90 days from the invoice date. Contact sales to obtain an RMA number and start the refund process. The item must be received by YHM unused, in the original packaging, and accompanied by a copy of the invoice. If the product is damaged or the original packaging is missing, an additional 20% restocking fee will be assessed. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. Claims for YHM products purchased through other Distributors/Dealers must be handled according to their refund policy.

 

RMA ABANDONMENT

   If a customer abandons their item(s) with YHM for a period of one year or more, YHM may issue a Notice of Destruction letter with the ATF. YHM will destroy the abandoned item(s) and provide written confirmation of the item(s) destruction to ATF. By submitting your item(s) to YHM you acknowledge it is your sole responsibility to assist in the return of said item(s). It is understood and agreed upon that YHM shall have no further liability of any kind to the customer once abandonment occurs.

 

NOTICE

   YHM reserves the right to make changes at any time and without notice to policies, prices, specifications or designs, to add or remove accessory materials, and to add or remove products without incurring any obligation.

 

IMPORTANT EXPORT REGULATIONS NOTICE

   Commodities, products, technologies and services purchased through YHM may be subject to one or more of the U.S. ITAR Export Control Laws and Regulations enforced by the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce, or U.S. Department of Treasury. It is unlawful and strictly prohibited to engage in overseas sales of ITAR products requiring a license without prior written approval from the U.S. State Department. Due to these Laws and Regulations, we cannot ship products to APO addresses.
