The user-serviceable Sidewinder® for .45 caliber features a completely redesigned booster system and uses the industry’s unofficial standard piston.


The design also includes the ability to swap pistons without the use of tools, thanks to a new rear cap. The Sidewinder M2 is user serviceable which allows both the baffle and Nielsen device to be removed for cleaning and maintenance using the provided disassembly tool. The front cap allows for better engagement with the takedown tool to make the service process easier. Our Nielsen device enables flawless semi-automatic operation on all relevant host pistols.


The Sidewinder M2 has 10 index points that allow you to adjust point of impact while our device remains attached to the host firearm.

    .45 ACP Sidewinder M2 Suppressor

    I bought this .45 ACP Sidewinder M2 Suppressor to be able to use across .45 ACP, .40 S&W, 10 MM and 9 MM. It really knocks down the sound level to that of a nail gun. But ONLY with subsonic ammo. It's not really effective on 10 MM due to that ammo typically isn't subsonic. It's easy to find subsonic for all the other calibers that I have. Great build quality in every aspect. You will NEED to clean this suppressor EVERY TIME you use it. Also use the grease they supply. You'll quickly need to get more. DO NOT fail to clean this suppressor EVERY TIME you use! If you can't clean it, at the VERY LEAST take it apart until you can clean it. YHM sells a VERY handy (necessary) steel cleaning brush for this. I wish I had gotten one at the time of purchase. This is a great suppressor that is light and easy to use. It looks like a Terminator level kinda cool too!

    The Sidewinder M2 is an amazing multi-caliber suppressor. Switching from pistol to PCC is super easy with the adaptor for the PCC, which is very affordable BTW!

1. Visit (or call) your local firearms dealer and tell them exactly what model number you are looking for (If ordering a sound suppressor keep in mind the dealer needs to be a Class 3 dealer). If your dealer of choice does not currently a offer YHM products don't worry. They can easily become a YHM dealer.
