YHM's suppressor gas block is designed for customers looking for an affordable way to tune their AR for shooting suppressed. This gas block features a gas port hole that's 50% smaller than a standard gas block. This reduced gas port decreases "port pop" and mitigates blowback to the shooter, making shooting suppressed much more enjoyable. Due to variations in barrel gas port size, barrel length, caliber, suppressor design, ammunition, etc., this item may require the customer to fine-tune the port size to match their exact setup. It is designed to be used on a host firearm that will be shot exclusively with a suppressor attached. Gas port size: 0.063"
- Manufactured from 4140 Steel, finished with a mil. spec. phosphate coating.
- Length: 0.95"
- Bore diameter of .750 inches.
- Weight: 1.6 Oz.
Made in the U.S.A.

Suppressor Gas Block
I have a 16” BCA in 7.62 x 39 I only shoot suppressed. This budget carbine is very accurate and has always functioned 95% reliably but has always been over-gassed. I added a gas mitigating charging handle but it had no effect. When I replaced the gas block with the YHM Suppressor Block the reliability issues were cured. Shooting hand-loads with 150 grain spire point and 123 grain ballistic tips…they just run. This is a favored thermal hog hunting setup so the increase in reliability and not having to look through a cloud of smoke, in the dark, for a little over $20…….well, thank you YHM. I also own 3 of your suppressors with my Fat Cat always spurring a conversation at the range over both its look and effectiveness.

Awesome concept need to see them in .625 and .875 sizes
Much superior to a tuned gas tube as it should last way longer. Only problem is having to drill it yourself. I recommend getting a set of Chicago Latrobe bits from amazon, Wire Size #60 - #1. That covers almost all decent sizes. In the future it would be nice if YHM could offer such a set with every size they would want to use.

Great Product
Excellent quality, nice snug fit. Easy to drill out port for perfect compromise of function between suppressed/unsuppressed on my rifle. Hopefully a permanent solution without the failure points of adjustable gas blocks. $20 bucks and a little work for a reliable soft shooting less gassy rifle!

Yhm Suppressor Gas Block for AR Rifles
This item is very well made and it's budget friendly. I would buy more if Washington didn't ban all ar15 rifles / parts.
