This YHM barrel features a 5.56x45mm NATO chamber for full compatibility with surplus mil-spec ammunition or commercial 223 Remington ammunition. Constructed of 4140 chrome-moly steel with a threaded muzzle, the barrel is Melonited for ultimate surface protection. The melonite coating provides a thinner surface than chrome lining, so bore friction is reduced for better accuracy. In addition, melonite is harder than chrome-lining providing a longer wear life.

This barrel is an excellent choice for a general-purpose AR rifle build. It is perfectly suited for use at the range, in a 3-gun match, or in the field pursuing wild game.

1. Visit (or call) your local firearms dealer and tell them exactly what model number you are looking for (If ordering a sound suppressor keep in mind the dealer needs to be a Class 3 dealer). If your dealer of choice does not currently a offer YHM products don't worry. They can easily become a YHM dealer.

2. IMPORTANT NOTE: EVEN IF A PRODUCT IS OUT OF STOCK ONLINE, DEALERS CAN BACK ORDER THE ITEM AT ANY TIME. Placing your order through a dealer gets you on the back order list and ensures that you will receive your product in the fastest manner possible.
