COBRA 9mm and .45
The Cobra was introduced in June of 2007 and featured a Nielsen device which, unlike the earlier Wraith 9mm, allowed semi-auto pistols to cycle properly. These models were primarily made of aluminum and used a 1-piece non-serviceable baffle system but did allow the end user to service and maintain the moving parts of the Nielsen assembly. This feature also allowed the use of the suppressor on multiple firearms by interchanging pistons to adapt to different barrel threads. The suppressors were 1-1/4" in diameter by 7-3/4" long.
These models used Sound Technologies patented baffle design.

WRAITH XL 9mm & .45
YHM first offered the 9mm Wraith XL in September 2007. This model was 1-5/8" in diameter X 8.5" long and was offered in direct thread 1/2-28, 1/2-36 and 1/2-32, Q.D. and 3-lug adapter for use on H&K MP5 style firearms. All models were constructed from aluminum, were non-serviceable and utilized a 1-piece mono-core baffle. These were designed solely for use on sub-guns such as 9mm carbines and the like as they didn't utilize a Nielsen device and are too large in diameter to be used with any handgun sights. They were noted for their low pleasant tone and light weight.
These models used Sound Technologies patented baffle design. 2007-2014
.45 caliber version was introduced in 2011 and was available in Q.D. only.

PHANTOM .223 (Monocore)
In 2007 the manufacturing process was changed, and the baffle stack was now created from a single piece of bar stock that was drilled and turned in a lathe and then had the baffles milled into the solid piece of bar. At this time a heat-treated Inconel 718 blast baffle was also put into use as it greatly increased the service life of the product. These models all use what's known as a "slant" baffle which can be seen in the pictures where the name comes from. These models were available in both Q.D. and Direct thread 1/2-28. Customers could also choose between chromoly steel or stainless steel. All models were 1-1/2" in diameter. Older models were black oxide coated and in 2015 were switched over to Cerakote.
This model uses Sound Tech's patented baffle design. 2007-2016

COBRA M2 9mm, .40 & .45
The Cobra M2 was first offered in July 2008 and was developed to replace the original Cobra. M2 models measure 1-3/8" in diameter by 7-3/4" long. This increase in diameter resulted in better sound reduction due to the increase in internal volume over the original Cobra. The M2 model featured a new 1-piece baffle that was removable by the end user for cleaning and maintenance purposes. Along with the removable baffle, end users could also take apart the Nielsen assembly for cleaning and swapping thread mounts for various firearms.
In 2010 we first began offering our Universal Piston which featured a large 3/4" thread that then accepted thread specific Universal Piston Adapters for various firearms. This was done per ATF regulations prohibiting YHM from selling pistons direct to end users. Customers who have an early Cobra M2 using thread-specific pistons can upgrade free of charge to the newer universal piston to accommodate firearms with different barrel threads.
These models used Sound Technologies patented baffle design. 2008-2013

MAXIM
YHM produced the Maxim Woodsman .22 and Maxim 1911 .45 suppressors under variance for U.S. Fire Arms for a short period of time from 2009-2011. These were non-serviceable, mono-core suppressors that featured an eccentric bore to allow the use of factory height sights. The original Maxims were made by Maxim Silent Firearms in the early 1900's. U.S. Fire Arms acquired the rights for Maxim and offered them as a clone for people who wanted the "old school" look.
These models are no longer supported by YHM due to the licensing agreement expiring and U.S. Firearms going out of business.
These models used Sound Technologies patented baffle design.

.22 STINGER YHM-4370
The .22 Stinger was released in 2013. It utilizes an aluminum outer tube and stainless-steel baffles. They measure 1.04" in diameter X 5.5" long. The end user can easily disassemble the suppressor due to its unique stack together baffle system. The combination of aluminum and stainless steel allows for a light weight, yet strong suppressor which is rated for 5.7x28. Benefits of the Stinger over the Mite are a greater reduction in sound by up to 6dB along with being much easier to take apart and service. This new baffle system also got YHM away from using Sound Technologies patented baffle design which resulted in greater design flexibility.
Late model Mites could be upgraded to Stinger baffles and was a service offered by YHM.

RIFLE SUPPRESSORS
PHANTOM 5.56/.223 (Welded)
The Phantom 5.56/.223 suppressor was first introduced in October 2006 and was YHM's first venture into the suppressor market. The original Phantom was constructed from alloy steels and a heat-treated tool steel blast baffle. Individual tubes and plates were made and then welded together to produce the baffle stack. The stack was then turned round and fit into an outer tube. The tube measured 1-5/8" in diameter. It was with this model that the original Phantom Q.D. flash hider was born and is still essentially the same as what's used today.
This model uses Sound Tech's patented design.

PHANTOM .308
The Phantom .308 suppressor was released in October 2006 and was YHM's first .30 caliber offering. The original model was produced from chromoly steel and featured an Inconel blast baffle. It measured 1-5/8" in diameter by 8.5" long and weighed 28 oz. The Phantom used a 1-piece mono-core baffle under Sound Tech's patented design. In early 2007 construction was changed to stainless steel. This model was offered in both direct thread and Q.D. Older models were black oxide coated and in 2015 were switched over to Cerakote. .30 Cal suppressors can be used on anything from .17HMR-.300 RUM. This model uses Sound Tech's patented baffle design.
PHANTOM Ti .308
In November 2010 a titanium model was introduced to meet the increasing demand for a lighter .30 caliber suppressor. This new model weighed 15 oz while still retaining the same level of strength and sound reduction. It too used Sound Tech's patented baffle design and took the same Q.D. mounts as the stainless version, along with being offered in direct thread too. These have a rate of fire restriction of 60 rounds before letting it cool to ambient temperature.

PHANTOM .338
The Phantom .338 suppressor was introduced in November 2009. It was constructed from Chromoly steel and utilized a heat treated 718 Inconel blast baffle. The Phantom .338 can suppress .338 Lapua Magnum rounds by as much as 28 dB. This is a large suppressor measuring 1-5/8" diameter by 10.150" long and weighing 33 oz. The .338 was only offered in Q.D. and the customer could choose either a muzzle brake mount or flash hider in a variety of thread sizes.
This model uses Sound Tech's patented baffle design.

TITANIUM PHANTOM 5.56
In November 2010 our first titanium model was developed. It utilized the same type of "slant" baffle used in the Monocore Phantom, but the internals were made from grade 5 titanium with a grade 9 titanium outer tube. The benefit of the titanium models over the stainless steel and chromoly was weight reduction. At this time the Stainless Phantom weighed 20oz and the Titanium model weighed only 13oz. The downside to Titanium is its poor resistance to erosion which resulted in having rate of fire restrictions to 60 rounds before having to let the suppressor cool to ambient temperature. Titanium models were offered in both Q.D. and direct thread, they were also offered bead blasted grey for the first few years then black Cerakote became an option.
This model uses Sound Tech's patented baffle design. 2010-2016.

PHANTOM .30 M2
In March 2013 the Stainless Phantom .30 lineup went through a revision to make it both lighter and quieter. The changes resulted in a 3 oz reduction in weight bringing it to 25oz and a reduction in sound making it 3dB quieter. This model also brought back the original "pineapple" cuts on the exterior that the first models featured. The rear portion of the suppressor was increased in size to 1.650" and the front remained 1-5/8". This increase in size made the blast chamber stronger while allowing the new exterior cuts to be done. Older models were black oxide coated and in 2015 were switched over to Cerakote.

PHANTOM .30 LT/LTA/ULT
In March 2013 the Phantom LT (light tactical) and LTA (light tactical aggressive) series of suppressors were released. These models were designed specifically for the customer not looking to shoot anything larger than .308 Winchester. It excels on 300 Blackout, 7.62x39mm and 6.8mm. The 4302 series of mounts was also released in conjunction with this suppressor as customers were demanding shorter mounting options for their .30 caliber rifles. The LT weighs 20oz compared to the 25oz of the full size Phantom M2, which made it a perfect choice for AR pattern rifles. In April 2014 the titanium ULT (ultra light tactical) version was released, weighing only 14 oz. Older models were black oxide coated and in 2015 were switched over to Cerakote.
These models used Sound Tech's patented baffle design. 2013-2018.

PHANTOM 5.56 M2
In May 2013 chromoly 5.56 Phantom models were dropped and the Stainless lineup went through a revision to make it both lighter and quieter. The changes resulted in a 1.5 oz reduction in weight, bringing it to 18.5oz, and a reduction in sound making it 3dB quieter. This model also brought back the original "pineapple" cuts on the exterior that the first models featured. The rear portion of the suppressor was increased in size to 1.530" and the front remained 1-1/2". This increase in size made the blast chamber stronger while allowing the new exterior cuts to be done.
This model uses Sound Tech's patented baffle design.
Older models were black oxide coated and in 2015 were switched over to Cerakote. 2013-2017.

NITRO
The Nitro was released in June 2016 and was designed to replace the .30 caliber Phantom line. It was YHM's first suppressor that utilized conical baffles and a tubeless design. This allowed the suppressor to be reduced in length, weight, and diameter while still achieving better sound reduction than the larger Phantom M2 series. The Nitro shipped with both direct thread and Q.D. mounting options as well as both muzzle brake and low-profile end caps. Assembled length varied between 6.93"-7.75" and weight between 18.2 oz - 20.2 oz depending on the configuration. The Nitro is magnum rated and takes the 4302 and 3102 series of Q.D. mounts. The Nitro also features an EDM cut bore to ensure perfect alignment of the baffles to the mount.
Can be used on anything from .17HMR-.300 RUM.

TURBO (T1)
In January 2017 the Turbo line of 5.56 suppressor was announced. This model was a tubeless design constructed from 17-4 stainless steel along with a heat treated 718 Inconel blast baffle. By eliminating the outer tube, internal volume is increased while cost and weight are decreased. Some key features of the Turbo are a weight of 13.5 oz compared to 18.5 oz of the Phantom M2 and greater reduction of sound by up to 5 dB. The blast chamber, which is the rear most section of the suppressor, houses the serial number. This allows baffle strikes or catastrophic failures to be repaired much easier. The baffles can simply be cut at the weld and replaced with another set. The turbo was only available in Q.D. and features a Cerakote finish. The outer diameter is 1.562". The Turbo also features an EDM cut bore to ensure perfect alignment of the baffles to the mount.

RESONATOR
The Resonator was announced in January 2018 and was designed to be a super-affordable .30 caliber magnum rated suppressor capable of delivering superior sound suppression. It uses the same design philosophies as the Turbo both in materials and construction. The Resonator is 1.562" in diameter, 7.825" long, and weighs 16 oz. This model features a heat treated 718 Inconel blast baffle and 17-4 stainless steel baffles. This allows the suppressor to endure harsher firing conditions and shorter barrel length restrictions. Resonators accept 3302, 4302 and 3102 mounts. They shipped with 4302 series and were available in Q.D. only.
Can be used on anything from .17HMR-.300 RUM.

ULTimate Top End
The ULTimate .300 Blackout top end was first offered in August 2018 and featured a plethora of YHM products to complete the build. It was designed for the customer looking for the shortest legal barrel configuration while only paying 1 tax stamp. This is achieved by having a YHM-4300-Ti ULT suppressor pinned and welded to a 9.1" .300 Blackout barrel resulting in a legal barrel length of 16.1". This barrel/suppressor combo is then mated with a YHM upper receiver, dust cover, gas block, gas tube and Black diamond M-LOK handguard. The charging handle and bolt carrier group were omitted to achieve the desired price point and to allow the customer to chose parts to their liking.
This product was a short-term special offering.

5M2-QD & 4302-MB MUZZLE BRAKES
Both the 5.56 Q.D. muzzle brakes (YHM-5M2-QD) and the .30 caliber muzzle brakes (YHM-4302-MBs) share the same aesthetics. The main differences are the diameters at the muzzle and right in front of the taper mount interface. The 4302-MB series are the same length and overall design as the 5M2-QD however, the diameter at the muzzle of the device and just before the taper mount are larger on the 4302-MBs to prevent mounting a 5.56 suppressor on a .30 caliber mount.
Below is a Gen 2 mount and to the right is the Gen 3 (current) mount. The first geneneration mount featured the same cylindrical rings on the outside as the Gen 1 flash hiders. Generational revisions were done at the same times on muzzle brakes as the flash hiders, along with the same functional changes.

WRAITH 9MM AND .45 XL MOUNTS
Both the 9mm and .45 Wraith XL suppressors utilized a shorter version of our Phantom Q.D. flash hider and interface the exact same way. They are designed with larger diameters on the muzzle and in front of the taper mount interface to prevent putting a smaller suppressor on a larger firearm.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
.338 MOUNTS
The Phantom .338 suppressors used their own series of Q.D. flash hiders and muzzle brakes. They were basically scaled up versions of the 3302 series of mounts to accommodate the larger thread patterns typically found on .338 caliber rifles.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
3-LUG
3-LUG mounting interfaces are used almost exclusively on H&K style firearms. They are a thread-less interface which is very quick and user friendly. They are comprised of an outer housing, a barrel sleeve, a spring, and an end cap. The outer housing has 3 cam cuts in it which allows the user to slip the assembly over their barrel and give it a 1/3rd turn for it to lock into place. To remove it, you simply push the suppressor towards the rear of the gun then rotate the opposite direction. These units are typically designed for easy disassembly to provide maintenance periodically.
Various versions were offered for the Wraith, Cobra, and Cobra M2 suppressors. Currently YHM offers the HUB compatible HD 3-Lug YHM-2050.
