Our standard Phantom muzzle brake is compatible with any 1.375-24 HUB capable suppressor using our Phantom® Q.D. Adapter.
The Phantom Q.D. muzzle brake is compatible with YHM suppressors including the Fat Cat, Turbo® series Resonator®series, Nitro® N2O, along with our legacy suppressors including the Nitro and Phantom® series.
The Mini Phantom is our ultra-compact iteration coming in at 1.6 inches and 3.2 ounces, and still performs great unsuppressed. It is compatible with our YHM Phantoms, Turbos, Turbo Ks, Resonators, and Nitros.
Our additional Phantom models include the 5.56 QD muzzle brake (1/2 x 28) and the Mini 9 mm Bore.
These muzzle brakes come from our latest line of sRx™ Muzzle Devices. These lightweight, low-profile Q.D. muzzle brakes were designed to be aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.
There are three different sRx muzzle brakes to choose from.
All three sRx™ muzzle brakes are compatible with the YHM sRx HUB adapter.
Q.D. (quick disconnect) muzzle devices are different mounting interfaces that have external threads and a taper to mount and seal a suppressor to the end of the firearm by hand quickly, without the use of tools. This includes Q.D. muzzle brakes and Q.D. flash hiders.
Benefits include:
Cons include:
Muzzle brakes do make unsuppressed rifles seem louder because they divert high-pressure gasses leaving the barrel laterally instead of down range to limit recoil. The rifle is not making more noise, but it is more noticeable to the operator or anyone standing adjacent to the firearm.
Having a suppressor installed over the Q.D. muzzle brake mitigates that issue, along with muzzle flash. It will not make a suppressed rifle louder than using a standard mount.
This depends on the application and desired results.
With the suppressor installed some consider muzzle brakes better than flash hiders. This is because they act as a baffle for the initial blast exiting the barrel which can improve the longevity of the suppressor baffles.
We recommend choosing the muzzle device that best suits your needs with the suppressor off.
Muzzle brakes can limit the wear and tear of the suppressor by absorbing the initial impact of high-pressure gasses, unburned gunpowder, and jacket fragments exiting the firearm. This can reduce wear on the blast baffle, and other components of the suppressor and may extend the life of the suppressor.

Through years of dedication and adaptation, YHM® has managed to keep those original goals in place while also becoming a full-service OEM Manufacturer.
Since 2013 Yankee Hill Machine has been owned and operated by the third generation of the Graham family-brothers, Chris and Kevin. Today their mission is to offer high-end, durable products at an affordable price without sacrificing quality. All products are made in the USA and designed to exceed your expectations.
